Was Kaiser leaned on to change her statement?
Wow, so they wanted the FBI to talk to the people and they interviewed Leland Ingham Keyser. Keyser she said FBI agent Monica McLean threatened her, telling her that she'd better back Ford's claims or else and testify that she saw Kavanaugh assault Ford. She told McLean she couldn't lie under oath and that she not only never saw that, she never went to any party with Kavanaugh.
This FBI agent Monica McLean is the one whom Christine Blasey coached to pass an FBI polygraph. She also is Ford's "Beach Friend" whom she was meeting with in Delaware and discussing the case with between July 30 and August 6.
McLean issued a statement through her attorney denying all of this and calling it an outrageous lie.
The FBI then included in the Senate secret report a series of threatening text messages that McLean had sent to Keyser.
This may be part of the "new evidence" Grassley mentioned in his letter to Feinstein demanding that she turn over her previously undisclosed communications with other parties in this.
Legally this is called witness tampering and intimidation and obstruction of justice and all are prosecutable federal crimes.
Yeah she was sitting right behind Blasey, with her whispering lawyers!
Rachel Mitchell clearly knew that Blasey had coached someone named McLean on polygraphs because she asked the off the wall question "have you ever coached anyone". But Mitchell obviously didn't know what McLean looked like. If she did, she could have asked, "Are these beach friends in the room with you right now? Can you point them out to me? Ah Ms McLean, good to have you here. Can we get this lady sworn in?"
