Ohio balls

Non-Delaware/Franklin counties now done. O'Connor up by just 155 votes, with a larger number of Delaware County (GOP) left to count than Franklin (Dem). O'Connor needs to do better in what's left of Delaware than he has so far, but what's left was a bit more R in the early vote.

So much for the ‘blue wave’.

Trump’s gonna slaughter the Dems in 2020.

+11 to 0 still feels blue wavey, no?

O'Conner won't concede and the margin is so small that under state law they have to do a hand recount. However, Balderson does have the lead at present.

To have a ‘blue wave’ don’t you need to win?

Lead settled in at 0.9% with 100% counted. Has to be below 0.5% to trigger an automatic recount. O'Connor still not conceding. Presumably he wants a recount but doesn't want to pay for it himself. Soros is probably working out puppet financing for a recount as we speak.

Fucking MSM every single article refuses to name the winner and says "too close to call" even though 100% of the vote is in. It's not too close to call, the fucking count is done. The winner is ... not O'Connor. So they say "We just don't have any idea." What bullshit.

O'Connor has been asked directly about the recount and is making cryptic statements, meaning he's awaiting orders from his masters Soros and Pelosi.

Also O'Connor is going to run against Balderson in November, 3 months from now. So even if he doesn't want a recount, he already gets an automatic new election.

This special election shit is retarded. You have the massive cost of an election for a 3 month run?

Also, the dude who resigned to work for some private company, that couldn't wait until November and just say "I'm not running for reelection"? I think the dude who resigned was paid to resign and is a traitor to his party because this whole situation is engineered to flip the party of this seat, with multiple chances to run the game over and over until you get the outcome you want.

He gets to run and lose.
He gets to have a recount and lose.
He gets to run a second election and maybe win that time - the Dems now know which voting machines they have to rig to get the fix in.

In November the Republican turnout will be much higher.

The Dems are totally fucked.

Maybe if they actually had some policies...

Provisional and absentee ballots can't be counted until 8 days after the election, according to Ohio state law.

What was the reasoning behind this law?

So for 8 days about 7000 uncounted ballots will be sitting in a room without any security, the only people with access being mostly Dem. leaning election officials.

What could possibly go wrong.

No wonder O'Connor won't concede. He's been told that they are working on things.

>ballots can't be counted until 8 days after the election

Probably dates from when everything was transported on horseback.

Legally speaking it's a combination of:

1) Some states allow absentee ballots to be POSTMARKED on election day

2) A delay is then allowed for the transportation of the ballots and this has never been changed from the days of the Pony Express.

Two different people blaming (Russian?) horses for the policy. Huh. What are the odds.

Seems a wee bit coordinated.

Who is paying you to post here?

When voters used to travel to the polls by horse, Tuesday was an ideal day because it allowed people to worship on Sunday, ride to their county seat on Monday, and vote on Tuesday–all before market day, Wednesday. The month of November also fits nicely between harvest time and harsh winter weather, which could be especially bad to people traveling by horse and buggy.

Until 1937, presidents were not sworn in until March 4 because it took so long to count and report ballots.
