RIP Philo

Neither Obama or Clinton can do this. What's a bunch of shithole

Fiat Chrysler Automobiles (FCAU, +0.00%) said on Thursday it will shift production of Ram heavy-duty pickup trucks from Mexico to Michigan in 2020, a move that lowers the risk to the automaker’s profit should President Donald Trump pull the United States out of the North American Free Trade Agreement.

Fiat Chrysler said it would create 2,500 jobs at a factory in Warren, Michigan, near Detroit and invest $1 billion in the facility. The Mexican plant will be “repurposed to produce future commercial vehicles” for sale global markets. Mexico has free trade agreements with numerous countries.

The US economy requires the creation of 150,000 to 200,000 jobs a MONTH just to keep up with people entering the job market and keep unemployment flat.

A mere 2,500 jobs here and there is TINY.  It's a fig-leaf.  It's nice that these companies are willing to wave a fig-leaf for Trump.  But when you have a 600 BILLION dollar deficit, and you create a 150 BILLION dollar a year increase on that deficit, you are NOT doing "good things" for the economy.

Protectionism doesn't work.

>Protectionism doesn't work

Simply untrue, the rise of Japan and the later rise of China can be both attributed to protectionism.

^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

It is one of the thousands of companies that are bringing the jobs back. It is a start. With Obama or Clintons you get the big fat shithole ZERO. Please don't parse the numbers in a stupid way. Not enough, not enough. It is a frigging start!

Obama brought the unemployment rate from 10% down to 4.1%.

That's a LOT of fucking jobs.

It's pointless. Guys like Wabi and Shylock say US is "shithole". Hubble hates US too.

When they see end of war with Syria and IS defeated they are mad.

When they see jobs coming back to America they are mad.

When they see illegals sent back they are mad.

They trash talk the best most effective president we've had in decades because they literally hate America and they hate the guts of Americans, who they describe as "stupid motherfuckers" and "ignorant imbeciles" and "gap toothed meth addled hillbillies".

Why surprise, surprise -- the "official" curve goes from 10% down to 4.1%.  Those ARE the official numbers.

I suppose if I argued the unofficial numbers you'd criticize that too.

Hubble, we are still in the 20% unemployment. That is the only number I believe.

Then you are delusional, listening only to delusional data that supports your delusion, and there's no further point in discussing anything with you.  Too bad.

I think Trump is doing a good job.  No BS, no trolling, I legit think he's doing a good job.  Do I agree with everything he's doing?  No, he comes off like a bit too much of a loudmouth.  But I'm happy with him as President.

Ah, Chrysler, you mean that company that would be bankrupt and long gone if a Democrat government hadn't effetively temporarily nationalized it by bailing it out?
