Catcallers allers/

To show how routine street harassment is, Noa Jansma took a selfie with every man who catcalled her for a month and posted the photos to Instagram.

dearcatcallers*honks at me 3 times with his scooter, approaches from behind and cuts off my way* "God bless, When I see you, all I get is wild thoughts, wild, Wild Thoughts!! Darling" *honks again 3 times*

Then cot-style men jerking off and living alone idiots showed up...

“I bet the woman running this account offered no advice to the men "catcalling" her.”

“So the point of this stupid account is don't engage with me as a woman if you do not meet up my certain standars. Then it's okey. If i don't like you THEN you re assaulting me. Nah bitch GTFO”

“Here’s what I see: A fortunate young and attractive white girl shaming some poor guy who did nothing more that whistle at her in the street. At times, this innocent, possibly married, immigrant, who has finally found a job, could end up, divorced, jobless and homeless as a result. Now, tell me who is the cruel one in this situation.”

Every single guy shown is working class. Most of them are men of color, or southern european.

So the anti-compliment feminist movement is anti-immigrant, anti-working class, anti-poc. It's also very sexist. A woman to a white woman says, "You look great!" "I love your shoes!" "Did you get a new haircut?" and the white woman says, "Thanks!" A man of color says the same thing and gets the middle finger and accusations of harassment.

In addition to being racist, classist and sexist, the woman shown on instagram is also an attention seeking narcissist. She is saying to the world "I am so good looking, all these men complimented me. And I want you to know I am much better than them and feel OK shaming them for something they did that wasn't wrong at all."
