In perhaps not a totally unsurprising development, transracial pioneer Rachel Dozenal's brave act of coming out of the closet to admit she was a black woman trapped in a white woman's body has inspired others of like mind to no longer hide in the shadows. Challenging people to consider if race is not just DNA has sparked a number of public dialogues.
