Mentally ill now allowed in US military?

RT are reporting this.

Is it true or just Russian state propaganda?

And what could possibly go wrong with this new policy?

Widespread coverage of this story from multiple carriers.

As usual though, RT had the scoop since they are one of the most reliable news agencies in the world today, along with al Jazeera.

Key points.

This is US Army only, which is the shit one. Army's the worst and has always been for the low achievers, the grunts, the imbeciles, the unemployable losers.

The reason for the policy is they can't make recruiting quotas specifically because so many people come in who are disqualified for being seriously mentally ill.

People didn't get disqualified for minor mental issues ever like mild to moderate depression, or a phobia of spiders. People got disqualified for crippling disorders such as severe depression, psychosis, bipolar, mania, self-harm, etc.

Now most of those can get in. But if you've been certified criminally insane, or psychotic, you still can't get in. But you can get in with a bunch of others that definitely are going to affect your ability to serve, and are going to cause problems for those around you, and those at the end of your gun.

What we have here is people who have history of severe depression, suicide, mania, and delusions of grandeur, now being given access to very heavy firepower and sent overseas to look after brown and black folks.

By the way, several years ago they lifted the prohibition on service for people with a history of drug dealing and violent gang members.

It they aren't mentally ill going in, they are when they get out.
