Y'all are a bunch of wankers!

Give ne back my hat!

“Honestly, this isn’t me trying to get revenge on her,” he told Todd Starnes during a Fox News Radio interview, “this is me just trying to say: ‘Look, behavior like this is not tolerated in this country. There are individual rights and individual freedoms that we are granted as per the constitution, that everybody’s granted. It doesn’t matter what your beliefs are.’”

"I do want to send a message," Vitale said. "I am not vindictive, I am not vengeful, but people especially in my generation need to realize you can't do things like this because you don't like what someone is saying or wearing."

"Free speech is under attack on campus," he added. "As cliche as it sounds, the facts of our laws and our Constitution … don't care about what you feel. For millennials everywhere who believe their feelings give them the right to step on the rights of others – you are sadly misguided. That is not the real world."

Good we need to send a message to these SJWs that attacking people for having different beliefs and opinions is NOT okay.

I don't see how this hat-snatching is a felony and the article suspiciously doesn't explain.

I do agree it is a crime - theft, and she should be prosecuted. I've also seen stories about things like activists snatching headdresses off of sports fans at baseball games. Those activists should be prosecuted as well.

This fat mexican girl with her "Fuck your laws" is exactly why the wall MUST be built. Only a crazy person would deny that. No doubt she's an Obama Dreamer, aka career criminal with no respect for laws.

However, the crime here is not a felony. And no jury would agree either.

Her accent says otherwise.

In another article they explain the argument, that it is robbery and not theft:

> California’s penal code states, “Robbery is the felonious taking of personal property in the possession of another, from his person or immediate presence, and against his will, accomplished by means of force or fear.” If Macias is found guilty of robbery, she could face two to five years of prison, according to the state law.

He thinks that because the theft took place in his presence it amounts to robbery. However he misunderstands the law. It's required that it was accomplished by force or fear. Snatch and run isn't robbery. If he was afraid of her (fear), why did he calmly follow her to the campus office afterwards?

Was grabbing it off his head "force" in the eyes of the law?

He's filed charges.

Campus activists are demanding the charges be dropped and that the university provide Edith with FREE HOUSING, and provide her ENTIRE FAMILY with free housing as well.

Here is their demand letter. It even claims that Milo Yiannopoulos, Tucker Carlson, and Ann Coulter have all issued death threats against Edith and she needs to be protected.

They also demand she receive full amnesty against all criminal acts she may or may not have committed in the past, present or future (potential charges).

They also demand she not have to turn in any of her school assignments because the trauma she is experiencing because Ann Coulter is threatening to kill her.

They also demand she receive free counseling services.

They also demand that Janet Napolitano, the school's President and former Director of US Homeland Security, issue a statement identifying Edith's enemies as white supremacists and denouncing their acts such as wearing MAGA hats as violent terrorism.

They say that ONLY by doing all these things immediately, will the safety of other students be assured. This is a clear threat of terrorism against the students if their demands are not met.

> threaten with violence immigrants, people of color, Muslim and/or Muslim-passing people, queer and trans people, and others whose existence is threatened

What is Muslim-passing?

I think it's a reference to how violent anti-muslim rednecks sometimes beat up Sikhs because they think the turban means muslim, which of course it doesn't.

I doubt Sikhs want to get dragged into this hat dispute. A Sikh will say that the man's choice of headgear is his own and must not be interfered with.

Finally found the actual snatching video.

It's definitely not robbery. Just theft. She doesn't even touch him. She grabs the hat and pulls it off and immediately runs away, without saying a thing.

Obviously free speech is being attacked on campus.  That Performance Artist Milo Yannopolis keeps bringing in armed neo-Nazi's to close everyone else's freedom of speech DOWN.
