Anything else just isn't Enterprise enough.

This is why we don't have 3rd parties in this country

Trump is essentially a 3rd party candidate. Now, apparently, he wants to be a Democrat:

So bizarre.

He's pissed at Paul Ryan and Mitch McConnel?

Yes, he's very pissed at Paul Ryan and Mitch McConnell. McConnell openly dissed him in the NY Times. So, to get revenge and actually make deals, he's dealing with the Democrats now. Chuck and Nancy he calls them:

Money quote: "It is not seemly in a man my age to giggle this much."

Who knows, out of spite and malice and sheer narcissism, we might actually get some good government. For example, there's a handshake deal to get rid of the debt ceiling.

It's much easier to enter and win the Democratic/Republican primary and win, than to actually form a 3rd party.

The winner-take-all one-seat-per-district system pretty much guarantees 2 parties.

If you're 3rd party has so much support that you can get 10% of the vote per district ... you elect zero people.

Over and above that, if you do happen to get elected, you'll still have a Congress with two parties. You need to pretty much pick one if you want to get anything accomplished.
