jogger and the bus UK

Authorities in London have arrested a man suspected of shoving a woman into the path of the oncoming bus on the bustling Putney Bridge.

Video showed a man, who was jogging on a sidewalk on the bridge, shove the woman toward the road and continue running. The woman's upper body dangled in front of the bus, forcing the driver to swerve to narrowly miss her.

Police arrested a 50-year-old man Thursday in the Chelsea area on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm, authorities said in a statement. The man, who has not been publicly identified by police, is still in custody, police said.

Probably a finance asshole. One of Yoga's co-workers, perhaps (we know he wouldn't do this).

If the police haven't identified the man, this may be to avoid raising racial/religious tensions?

The guy arrested claims he has an infallible alibi.

Yeah, that's the surprising thing. My guess is that people told the police that it was him, they arrested him, but he said he can show he was in the US. The irony is that now he will have to always apply for a US visa, having been arrested, he can't use the visa waiver scheme as a tourist anymore.

Is he the person who committed the crime?
We have to wait for a while to find out.

Nah. He will get bonus sociopath points for *literally* throwing someone under the bus.
