Well, see, "States Rights", means Mississippi didn't have to accept all that lovely money for expanding Medicaid, so they didn't.

Mississippi is too busy balancing the resentment of poor whites against poor blacks.  "Raising all boats" might make those blacks uppity, and we can't have that.

Obama's jobs programs were regularly crippled by the Republicans in Congress DEMANDING cuts to the stimulus -- they even shut the Government down on a couple of occasions, you might remember.

Why should the Republicans get to blame Obama for the results of policies THEY insisted on?

Thank you for intelligent discussion, Hubble. By the way, what happened to the million jobs Obama created and unemployment is at 4.9% when Obama was in the office.

4.9% is good right?

I'm trying to do some math. At 4.9% unemployment, we almost have full employment.

What math did you do to figure that?

No president will ever eliminate poverty in the US.

Why people are still unemployed and where are the jobs.

The "Job Creators" don't create jobs when tax rates drop.  The "Job Creators" use their wealth to buy each other out and fire the duplicate workers no longer needed.

Thus you get mergers, and larger and larger companies.  Meanwhile, they outsource their labor to cheaper labor markets like China, India, Indonesia, Taiwan, Mexico, etc.

Why do they do this?  Because they can.  There's nothing about the unregulated Free Market that will stop this.  Only regulation requiring domestic workers will stop this -- and Republicans keep pretending it's the Free Market that will do this.

That's why, Charlie Brown.

No, but I can see how it looks like that to your perspective.
