No, ISIS did it. They had a mass "wedding" with captured Kurdish women. Due to their love of shooting weapons into the air during the event, they have created holes everywhere on the buildings.

What's most interesting about ISIS in Iraq is it has mostly been the Iraqi army evicting them, they seem to have become quite professional recently.
