Realistic retirement destination for you.
Let hear it. It should be where you can afford and realistically move to. It should not be a dream place where you can never get to.
Me: I'm thinking FL to hang out with my friend Ruseman.

Make a note to self: talk to Ruseman more and be nice to him.

Somalia is a good place for assisted suicide. Make sure you do something that force the thugs to shoot you right away. Otherwise, you will die a slow death.

I believe it may be cheaper if you just come to Wabi's house and hold on to the two wires in his electrical socket.

A lot of Somalian refugees in the Netherlands make holiday trips to Somalia.
No more Somali pirates?

There's over 400 national parks in the US. I want to see all of them.
Some parts of Kentucky are pretty cheap and affordable. Also it is one of the expanded Medicare states, so as long as you have less than $2500 in non-qualified investments (checking, savings - not things like IRA and 401k) you qualify for Medicaid and food stamps. Qualifying for food stamps lets you also get food at foodbanks (they're not too picky about letting folks from neighboring counties come and get some).
My advice: look for an expanded Medicaid state that lacks insanely GOP gerrymandering (well, that would exclude AZ and KY). If you *do* relocate here, in a rural area, make sure that you have a well drilled, since many rural water companies are not making the scheduled maintenance on their water mains so you can be without tap water for 3-4 weeks per year.
If I could stand being around Trumpistas and meth-heads, I could be retired now.
John McCaffee stayed for a while in Belize, but wouldn't recommend it.

I'll probably never be able to leave Central Texas due to family commitments.
If it wasn't for the damn heat I would be content here. I could probably find a plot of land outside Austin, and there are some quaint and charming little towns that might provide the kind of lifestyle I would enjoy.
I guess if I could find a place to build a self-contained (off-the-grid) home and do a little farming I might just stay.

Yeah, but it's a DRY heat. And you have A/C.
Damn, that reminded me that Bill Paxton is dead! :-(
