Trump apparently doesn't know this saying. How come the Washington Post claims to know more about this situation than Trump?
These 'officials' tell Washington Post that Trump fucks up in matters of intel, and the nature of this fuck up? >These 'officials' tell Washington Post that Trump fucks up in matters of intel, and the nature of this fuck up?
Trump has made some powerful enemies that want him gone. But Hillary sent 3 emails. "How come the Washington Post claims to know more about this situation than Trump?"
Good question. Deserves a real response. He has a need to blab and a need to feel self important. I suppose there is no price too high for this nation and its people that would stop the orange one from his needs.
Cool, so you can confirm there are tapes of the disclosure. Excellent.
The info was sourced from GCHQ and concerned ISIS planning to bomb planes with explosives concealed in laptops.
Quick! Arrest me! I must be in possession of classified material! Except... Russia is our ally against ISIS. Anyone with half a brain could work out this stuff from press releases in the MSM weeks ago. Russia is not an ally of the US, if the US starts to think it is then they are in real trouble.
Allies often dig each other's shins under the table.
France and England ware "allies" in the Middle East between WW1 and WW2. They often supported the guerillas who fought against the other "ally". McMasters just had a press conference saying that the story is a total fabrication from an "anonymous source." Of course, the worthless mainstream media simply ran the story without verifying any of the facts.
Since he was in the room, he knows what was discussed and he denies vehemently that any intel was shared. Except that Trump just called McMasters a liar:
https://www.nytimes.com/2017/05/16/us/politics/trump-intelligence-russia-classified.html?hp&action=click&pgtype=Homepage&clickSource=story-heading&module=first-column-region®ion=top-news&WT.nav=top-news&_r=0 At this point, why in the world would anyone believe anything a Trump Administration official said? So Trump hears the media say he disclosed classified info, and he goes along with it. He's a big shot President and he has the right to declassify intel.
It turns out that nothing of the sort was actually discussed, according to one of the grown-ups in the room. Reports say threats to civil aviation were discussed. Civilian lives might have been saved by that conversation. Shylock and his ilk would rather civilians be killed by Islamic jihadis than the US cooperate with Russia in any way. He has the right to. Not questioning that. But just because you can do something doesn't mean you should.
And I'm all for working with whomever to prevent lunatic murderers from murdering people. But it should be done in an intelligent way. And if you parse what McMaster said closely, it didn't contradict the sources. Sure, the President can declassify information.
But isn't there like a PROCESS for doing that? And the PROCESS isn't "Hey, just mention it to the top Russian spy in America while bragging about how good your intelligence is." I'm pretty sure about that part. "how come the Post knows more"
Because Trump has no idea what's going on. "denies vehemently that any intel was shared." No, he denies sources were revealed. CNN has made this point. I'm a Canadian, but I can't help watching this train wreck. Just like I watched the Iran-Contra hearings. |
