Yeah and that's a big problem in psychology/psychiatry.
They "diagnose" by doing things like giving you a two or ten question test that asks if you're depressed. If you say you're depressed then they don't both to ask if you're in a sucky job or your wife died or girlfriend left. Instead they say "I have diagnosed that you have a chemical imbalance in your brain."

Important lesson: People who are criminally insane can look normal when on TV and reading from a teleprompter.
You just don't get the feedback you would from a one-on-one personal interaction.
It also means that a sane person who looks bad on TV will not succeed as a politician.

Not necessarily - there are some people who are sane AND look good on television.
My point is that you can't tell just by watching them on TV. You have to meet them in person.
