Wrong direction, wrong ocean

Brothels in Cockburn welcome this news.

Big paydays, huh?
April 19th, 2017 8:43pm
Nah, but seppos on R&R all spend like drunken sailors.
Oh whoops, that's just what they are.

One possible explanation would be that the US govt wanted to scare North Korea's govt without triggering preparations for war by Russia and the PRC.
Sure, China could have told and likely did tell N.K. that the ship(s) weren't coming but (1.) N.K.'s rulers do not necessarily trust Beijing at all and (2.) N.K.'s rulers are probably honest and reality-based enough (individually in their own thoughts though perhaps not openly to one another) to understand that it would not take an aircraft carrier to kill most of the their top personnel and cripple the N.K. govt in a matter of hours.
Maybe lying about the carrier's movements was also a way of jolting South Korea into a healthier distrust of and skepticism towards the U.S. security guarantee in the same way that statements made about NATO and the U.S.'s readiness to end the world to defend the independence of Eastern European former USSR satellites?
Or it could be that Trump couldn't organise a piss up in a brewery.

Yes, that last sounds right.
That's why he's so into secrets.
April 20th, 2017 8:18am
He was told by the Chinese not to steam to Korea, but was allowed to pretend for a few days.
Trump is owned by Goldman Sachs, Dow Chemical, et al more or less the same as Clinton is, and Obama was.
The idea that he's some sort of Russian Manchurian candidate with stronger ties to China than any president since the 60s is absurd on its face. It's mass hysteria and a terrible indictment of supposedly grown adults.
All to avoid admitting the real reasons your shitty candidate lost.

Guys, give it a rest. We would never tell the enemies where our ships are. That's just the way it is. Nowadays, with satellites we can tell where the ships are anyway. Remember how the Germans didn't know that we would land on Normandy during ww2? We did have a fake invasion at Calais.
April 20th, 2017 10:36am
What I am saying is we will say our ships at this and that location and none of that can be true or false. That is military strategy.
April 20th, 2017 10:37am
Maybe the ship is not really in the indian ocean. Maybe it's off the shore of N. Korea right now and all that photo stuff was a ruse.
April 20th, 2017 9:10pm
Maybe it's slowly crawling up Kim's ass crack.
