I keep hearing about this Amazon thing. Maybe some day I will try it.

black child saga

24 years ago a white mom and white dad had a black baby girl.

The mother insisted she never cheated, the father believed. The girl was told her entire life she was 100% white even though she was clearly black.

https://www.theguardian.com/lifeandstyle/2017/mar/18/my-mum-always-told-me-i-was-white-like-her-now-i-know-the-truth

Before her dad died she told him she thought he might not be her father. He said that was not true, he was definitely her biological father, and her darker skin just happens sometimes. But dad agreed to a DNA swab.

After he died the results came back... inconclusive.

So she did another test with her mom's DNA included. The results came back... he wasn't her father.

She confronted her mother. Her mother said hm, now that you mention this, you know, I might have fucked a random black guy in the pub bathroom 9 months before you were born, never occurred to me before now that that would have anything to do with your kinky hair and black skin. I honestly thought your father was your father. Oops, sorry.

Sounds like her non-biological dad loved her anyway.

Everybody lies, who knew?

Her biological dad can't be Phil Lynott because he died in '86.

With more widespread routine DNA testing it's becoming rapidly apparent that the incidence of this is much more common than previously thought, probably around 10%.

I have a nephew who looks Irish. He doesn't look like my brother at all.

The truth came out when my brother got a divorce.

The kid is loved. It makes no difference on how he is treated.

So you guys think it's cool her parents made her fight their own battles?

She was constantly bullied and ridiculed when she insisted to  people she was white.

Telling people she was a half-caste from an unknown father would not have made people react much better.

Most of the problems she described were simply racism.

Her refusing to date black guys could also be regarded as her racism.

Culturally, she's been raised as white by her parents, how she now handles the situation is really up to her, she comes across as being largely in denial about it all which does not bode well for her future.

Man gets cucked, raises child as own anyway then dies of cancer, mother meanwhile carries like nothing unusual going on

I'm sure her father knew something was up.

There are rare cases when two white people have unknown (not so) distant African ancestry and they produce a "throwback" that looks black.

Yeah Sandra Laing in South Africa was a black child of two white bio parents. That's the only one I've heard of.

Skin (2008) is a movie about her life. She got classified as black by the government and not allowed to attend white schools, etc.
