OK, 1995, but fanboy is right.

Mousewheel is very very important.

What sucks is most mice have only 3 buttons. 5 is the minimal I need.

I think 10 years is usually too little time for a discovery to reach the mass market. Flash memories for me (1980), but e-paper is also cool (1970) -- I haven't been so excited about a new gadget for years.

I think a mouse should have an entire keyboard integrated where the two mouse buttons are now.
